Original exterior features remain including <br /> a porch with paired columns and stickwork balustrade, a doorway With leaded <br /> glass sidelights, and a three-part window on the second level with dentil <br /> course above. <br /> HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE (Explain the role owners played in local or state <br /> history and how the building relates to the development of the community.) <br /> Abram C.Washburn was one of Lexington's most prolific builders in the <br /> late nineteenth century.
