(Munroe district. D-1).� <br /> Eli Robbins, grandson of Stephen Robbins,livel here in 1830's & operated fur processing] <br /> business. He is credited with having built along Main St. (now Mass. Ave.) providing <br /> houses for the +100 workers he employed. It has been suggested that this building on <br /> Robbins pari explains the high concentration of 5 bay wide, center entrance houses <br /> along this portion of Mass.
