Washburn,the well known contractor, opposite the <br /> Ferguson residence[29 Oakland Street, #379], has been sold by Mr. Washburn. The purchaser is Mr. John F. <br /> Ballard,who will take possession of the premises the first of September. The house is a well built,modern <br /> structure and is similar in style to the house of Mr. Chas. H. Miles on Merriam Street[35 Meriam Street, 9386]. <br /> It has ten rooms, so is commodious as well as conveniently arranged. <br /> A.C. Washburn had sold another house at 6 Upland Road to John Ballard's sister, Mrs. Fred Cloyes, in April 1906. <br /> John F. Ballard worked as a salesman in Boston.
