William Fish Glenn was born in -ize+ftnd in 1851. He became a resident <br /> of Lexington in 1871 and was a carpenter by trade, although the 1894 Directory <br /> indicates he also worked as a clerk. HSS grandson, who occupied the house in <br /> the twentieth century, was a meat dealer and the small building at the rear, <br /> now part of the residence, was originally a slaughterhouse. <br /> 10.
