MINUTES <br />FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD <br />March 28, 2006 <br />4:30 p.m., Selectmen's Office <br />PRESENT: Norman Cohen, Richard Pagett, David Walsh, and Becky Rushford, Lauren <br />McSweeney, and Kelly McGee from Social Services <br />1. Money Available as of 2/28/06: Income $23,511.92 <br />2. Human Services: <br />a. Report — December 6, 2005 to March 24, 2006 <br />Reported that there could be some additional citizens coming forward with requests <br />for help with utility costs from winter. They expect to be able to cover from the <br />Human Services Fund. <br />b. Ratify Poll Vote Request: $1,184.47 to cover 5 medical bills for AR. APPROVED <br />c. Request: $1,580.00 to cover cost of QZ's son's summer camp. APPROVED <br />d. Request: $1,250.00 - $1,700.00 to cover cost of GR's son's summer camp — received <br />$500 from the Asperger Association — request is for $1,250. APPROVED <br />e. Request: $719.00 to cover April rent for RB and MB —The residents want to <br />expedite the sale of the home. If there is a need for subsequent requests will consider <br />a loan with the proceeds from the home sale to repay. APPROVED <br />3. Other Issues: <br />a. Ratify Poll Vote — Celebration Sound System - $2,000.00. APPROVED for money to <br />be paid only as needed <br />b. Annual Request - Lexington Center Committee - $2,500.00 (barrel planting). <br />APPROVED <br />c. Annual Request —East Lexington Community Association - $1,200.00 (holiday). <br />APPROVED <br />5. Next Meeting — Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. <br />6. The minutes of December 6, 2005 were approved. <br />
