Draft MINUTES – LEXINGTON CONSERVATION COMMMISSION MEETING September 13, 2011
Community Education:

The group agreed that, before the signs are installed, we should ask that notice of their
installation be posted on the FOWW website. It was also suggested that we post a short survey
to enable users of the website to comment on the signs and offer suggestions for their
improvement. Notice of the new signs should also appear in the Lexington newspapers. Our
plan is to install temporary signs, to be replaced eventually by permanent ones.

Time did not permit showing the Boulder video, but it was agreed that we should show it at the
next meeting. In the meantime, Phil will contact Florence Del Santo of LexMedia to see if
LexMedia can assist us in producing a community education video similar to Boulder’s.

Approval of Minutes:

Duke and Phil voted to approve the minutes of the meetings of 1/28/11 and 9/13/11.

The meeting adjourned at 10:25 a.m.

Respectfully submitted by,

Phil Hamilton, Conservation Commissioner
