<br />th <br />Lexington 300 Anniversary Celebration Committee <br /> <br />g.Email Listserve – Donna Hooper explained she will pursue the setup of an <br />th <br />email listserve through web site for all interested in Lexington 300 <br />Anniversary Celebration to subscribe and for use by Committee to get the <br />word out. <br /> <br />5.Organizational Structure/Subcommittees <br />Discussion on potentially important subcommittees included: <br /> <br />a.Time Capsule & Permanent Memorial <br /> <br />b.Events & Management <br /> <br />c.Communication <br /> <br />d.Incorporation Weekend, Kick-off & Finale <br /> <br />e.Budget <br /> <br />f.Publicity & Marketing <br /> <br />g.Fundraising <br /> <br />Jessie Steigerwald will prepare a flow-chart of proposed Committee structure & <br />subcommittees. <br /> <br />Eric Carlson encouraged we invite a Freshman/Sophomore to become a member of the <br />th <br />Lexington 300 Anniversary Celebration Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Followup – <br /> <br />a.As we are charged to pull the community together, must target neighborhood, <br />ethnic, religious groups <br /> <br />i.What have been the role of churches/religious groups in Lexington? <br />Sue Rockwell will outreach to Lexington Clergy Association. <br /> <br />ii.Indian-American community & other ethnic communities <br /> <br />7.Budgets – <br /> <br />a.FY2012 request is due shortly – <br /> <br />i.$2,000 appropriated for FY2011 <br /> <br />ii.FY2012 – marketing, fundraising, town-wide mailing ($1,500) <br /> <br />1.Motion to request $6,000 for FY2012 – Unanimously Adopted. <br /> <br />th <br />8.
