The election officers were sworn to the faithful Per- fozmance of their duties . The ballots were counted by the election officers in each Precinct, the tally sheets and total vote sheets prepared by the Town Clerk beinv used. The ballots cast were counted, enclosed in envelopes , sealed, signed by the election officers, together with the unused ballots, delivered to the Registrars of Voters , who Proceeded to canvass the same, with the following result which was declared by the Town Clerk.
