M. <br /> Article 40 , VOTED : That the Selectmen be and they hereby are author- <br /> ized to construct or contract for the construction of san- <br /> itary sewers in that part of Lexington known as North <br /> Branch Vine Brook, as shown on a set of plans in the office <br /> of the Town Engineer, and to take by eminent domain or <br /> otherwise acquire any easement or other interest in land <br /> necessary therefor. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:38 P. M. <br /> Article 41 , VOTED: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are author- <br /> ized to construct or contract for the construction of san- <br /> itary sewers in that part of Lexington known as South <br /> Branch Vine Brook, as shown on a set of plans in the <br /> office of the Town Engineer, and to take by eminent domain <br /> or otherwise acquire any easement or other interest in <br /> land necessary therefor. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:39 P. VOTED: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are author- <br /> ized to construct or contract for the construction of san- <br /> itary sewers in that part of Lexington from Mill Brook to <br /> Rindge Avenue , as shown on a set of plans in the office of <br /> the Town Engineer, and to take by eminent domain or other- <br /> wise acquire any easement or other interest in land nec- <br /> essary therefor. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:40 P. M. <br /> Articles 40-42 inclusive <br /> VOTED : To appropriate for the purposes of sewer construction <br /> and land acguisiton enumerated in Articles 40, 41 and 42, <br /> the sum of 4275 ,000.00 and to provide for the payment <br /> thereof by the issuance of bonds or notes of the Town in <br /> the amount of $275 ,000.00 and that the Town Treasurer, with <br /> the approval of the Selectmen, be and he hereby is auth- <br /> orized to borrow the sum of 4275 ,000.00 and to issue bonds <br /> or notes of the Town payable in accordance with the prov- <br /> isions of General Laws , Chapter 44, within a period not <br /> exceeding twenty-five years. <br /> Motion made by Harold B. Lamont : <br /> Said bonds or notes of the Town payable in accordance with the <br /> provisions of General Laws, Chapter 44, within a period not exceeding <br /> thirty years. <br /> Motion to amend Carried 8: 44 P. M. <br /> Articles 40-42 inclusive <br /> VOTED : To appropriate for the purposes of sewer construction <br /> and land acquisition enumerated in Articles 40, 41 and 42, <br /> the sum of '4275,000.00 and to provide for the paymat thereof <br /> by the issuance of bonds or notes of the Town in the amount <br /> of 275,000.00 and that the Town Treasurer , with the approval <br /> of the Selectmen , be and he hereby is authorized to borrow <br /> the sum of 4275 ,000.00 and to issue bonds or notes of the <br /> Town payable in accordance with the Provisions of General <br /> Laws, Chapter 44, within a period no exceeding thirty years. <br /> uarried Unanimously 3:45 P.
