Locke presents report of the Committee on Town Manager <br /> form of government : <br /> VOTED : That the report of the Committee on Town Manager form of <br /> government be accepted and that the Committee be discharged. <br /> Report voted upon to be accepted and placed on file 8:09 P.M. <br /> Walter E. Sands presents the following: <br /> VOTED : That the Selectmen be authorized to appoint a Committee <br /> of five to study further the matter of a Town Manager for <br /> Lexington and to submit a report with recommendations at <br /> the next Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:10 P.M. <br /> Donald E. James presents report of the Elementary School Building <br /> Committee which was voted upon to be accepted and placed on file <br /> 8:13 P.M. <br /> George P. Wadsworth makes verbal report concerning the progress <br /> of Fiske School and other Elementary schools 8:14 P.M. <br /> ******,!, <br /> Article 3 . VOTED : That the Town Treasurer , with the approval <br /> of the Selectmen, be and he hereby is authorized <br /> to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of <br /> the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1 , <br /> 1951, and to issue a note or notes therefor payable <br /> within one year and to renew any note or notes as may <br /> be given for a period of less than one year in accord- <br /> ance with Section 17 , Chapter 44, General Laws. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:16 P.M. <br /> Article 4.
