356 <br /> SPECIAL ELECTION, REFERENDUM FOR $160,000 SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION <br /> FOR NET HIGH SCHOOL, ILD JULY 23 , 1951 <br /> C'D <br /> (See Warrant Book - Page <br /> In pursuance of the foregoing warrant the legal voters of the <br /> Town of Lexington met in their respective voting places in said Town <br /> of Lexington Monday , July the twenty-third in the year of our Lord <br /> nineteen hundred and fifty-one at seven-thirty o' clock in the fore- <br /> noon. <br /> The following places were designated as the voting places for <br /> the various precincts: Precinct One, Adams School; Precinct Two ,. <br /> Three and Four, Cary Memorial Hall. <br /> The following election officers having been duly appointed by <br /> the Selectmen, and Wardens of the various precincts were assigned <br /> for duty as follows: <br /> PRECINCT ONE PRECINCT TWO <br /> Charles J. M. and remained open until eight o'clock P. M. , after <br /> which time, after due notice , they were closed. <br /> The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance <br /> of their duties. <br /> The ballots were counted by the election officers in each <br /> precinct , the tally sheets and total vote sheets prepared by the <br /> Assistant Town Clerk being used. <br /> The total registration of voters in each precinct was as <br /> follows: <br /> Precinct One Two thousand eleven 2011 <br /> Precinct Two One thousand six hundred thirty-four 1634 <br /> Precinct Three One thousand eight hundred twenty-two 1822 <br /> Precinct Four Two thousand one hundred thirty-five 2135 <br /> Total Seven thousand six hundred two 7602 <br /> The ballots cast were counted, enclosed in envelopes , sealed, <br /> signed by the election officers, together with the unused ballots , <br /> and delivered to the Assistant Town Clerk at her office. <br /> The Registrars of Voters and the Assistant Town Clerk canvassed <br /> the result as follows : <br /> Precinct One Three hundred seventy-six 376 <br /> Precinct Two Three hundred sixty-six 366 <br /> Precinct Three Four hundred three 403 <br /> Precinct Four Four hundred forty-three 443 <br /> Total One thousand five hundred eighty-eight 1588 <br />
