MASON, 20 MAPLE STREET <br /> The following were sworn to the faithful performance of their <br /> duties as election workers by the Town Clerk and served under the <br /> direction of the Board of Registrars: <br /> Charles J. Foster Clarence E. Delp <br /> The final result of the recount showed that Clarence E. Smith <br /> gained one vote and William F. Mason lost one vote. It remaining <br /> the same as the vote of March 1, 1954 whereby Clarence E. Carroll. <br /> There were 31 Town Meeting Members present. <br /> James J. Carroll was nominated and elected to serve as chairman <br /> and clerk of the meeting. <br /> Nominations were made from the floor for Harold F. Lombard, Russell <br /> M. Little and James H. Lewis. <br /> The following tellers were appointed: Gardner Ferguson, <br /> Gardner Frost and Ronald D.
