The acts and proceedings of the town of Lexington at the <br /> adjourned session of the annual town meeting held in the year nineteen <br /> hundred and fifty-five, which adjourned session was held on March <br /> twenty-eighth, nineteen hundred and fifty-five, and all acts done in <br /> pursuance thereof, are hereby confirmed and made valid, notwith- <br /> standing the failure to give notice of the adjournment as required <br /> by law or the by-laws of said town, to the same extent as if the <br /> said adjourned session had been called, held, conducted and adjourned <br /> in strict compliance with the law.
