Hugh M. Chapin moves reconsideration of Article 65. <br /> 10:01 P. M. <br /> Mr. Chapin states that if reconsideration of Article 65 <br /> is passed, he will present the following motion: <br /> I move to amend Article 65 by striking out the figure $27,000.00 <br /> and substituting therefor the figure $15,000.00. <br /> 10:02, P. Presented by Robert E. Bond. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to retain professional services for the <br /> preparation of-plans and specifications for the develop- <br /> ment of the so-called dump area on Lincoln Street and to <br /> develop all or a portion of said area; and to raise and <br /> appropriate therefor the sum of $150,000.00. <br /> 10:08 P. M. r <br /> The Board of Selectmen, Planning Board and Recreation <br /> Committee are in favor of this article. 10:13 P. M. <br /> Frank T. Parrish, Jr. makes the following motion: <br /> I move to amend the motion offered under Article 67 to <br /> read as follows: <br /> That the Selectmen be and they hereby are- authorized <br /> to make preliminary improvements to the so-called <br /> dump area on Lincoln Street and to develop all or a <br /> portion of said area; and to raise and appropriate <br /> therefor the sum of $25,000.00. <br /> 10:25 P. M. <br /> Logan Clarke, Jr. states that the School Committee is in <br /> favor of the main motion.- 10:32 P. M. <br /> Hugh M. Chapin states that the Capital Expenditures <br /> Committee would like this article to be deferred to <br /> another year and therefor urge support of the amendment. <br /> 10:33 P. M. <br /> Erik Lund states that the Planning Board is in favor of <br /> the main motion. 10:35 P. M. <br /> After general discussion, Edwin A.
