VOTE: That the Selectmen be and hereby are authorized <br /> to install such sewer and water mains, conduits or drains <br /> as they may deem appropriate under the portion of Route 2 <br /> to be reconstructed in the Town and under any roads con- <br /> structed in the Town in connection therewith, including <br /> ramps, maintenance roads and adjoining land, by entering <br /> into a contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, <br /> represented by its Department of Public Works, to have the <br /> work performed by the contractor engaged by the Common- <br /> wealth for such reconstruction, that the sum of 665,000.00 <br /> be appropriated therefor and that said sum be provided <br /> by transfer of $45,000.00 from the Water Department <br /> Available Surplus and the balance of $20,000.00 to be <br /> transferred from the Excess and Deficiency Account. <br /> Carried Unanimously 9:17 P.
