Carroll, read the warrant for the meeting <br /> until further reading was waived. 8:10 P. M. <br /> Town Clerk, James J. Carroll, read the Constable's Return for <br /> the meeting. 8:10 P. M. <br /> Article 1. J. Harper Blaisdell, Jr. presented the Report of the <br /> Appropriation Committee, was accepted and placed on file. <br /> 8:11 `P. M. <br /> Van T. Boughton, Jr. presented the Report of the Capital <br /> Expenditures committee which was voted to be accepted <br /> and placed on file. 8:11 P. M. <br /> Article 2. Presented by Jules P. Sussman. <br /> VOTED: To appropriate an additional sum of $3,000.00 to <br /> the Conservation Fund established by vote under Article 9 <br /> of the warrant for the Special Town Meeting held on June <br /> 8, 1964, and provide for payment by transfer from the <br /> Excess and Deficiency Account. <br /> Carried Unanimously 8:12 P. Sussman. <br /> VOTED: That the Conservation Commission, appointed under <br /> authority of the vote adopted under Article 9 of the <br /> warrant for the Special Town Meeting held on November 25, <br /> 1963, be and hereby is authorized, on behalf of the Town, <br /> to expend from the Conservation Fund, established by vote <br /> under Article 9 of the warrant for the Special Town <br /> Meeting held on June 8, 1964, the sum of $3,000.00 for <br /> the purchase, in the name of the Town, for conservation <br /> purposes as provided by Section 8C of Chapter 40 of the <br /> General Laws, a parcel of land shown as Lot B-2 on plan <br /> entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated October <br /> 16, 1964, by Albert A.
