(WARRANT FOR ANNUAL TOWN MEETING - See Warrant Book) 259 <br /> ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br /> March 5, 1962 <br /> In pursuance of the foregoing warrant the legal voters of the <br /> Town of Lexington met in their respective voting places in said <br /> Town of Lexington on Monday, March the fifth in the year of our <br /> Lord nineteen hundred and sixty-two at 7:30 in the forenoon. <br /> The following places were designated as the voting places for the <br /> various precincts: Precinct One, Adams School; Precinct Two, East <br /> Lexington Fire Station; Precinct Three, Cary Memorial Hall; Precinct <br /> Four, High School Building; Precinct Five, Central Fire Station; <br /> Precinct Six, Maria Hastings School. <br /> The following election officers having been duly appointed by <br /> the Selectmen, and Wardens of the various precincts were assigned <br /> for duty as follows: <br /> Precinct One Precinct Two <br /> Mary E. McCauley Teller Caroline F. Deloury <br /> The polls were declared open in each precinct at seven-thirty <br /> o 'clock A. M. and remained open until eight o'clock P. M. , after <br /> which time, after due notice, they were closed. <br /> The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance of <br /> their duties. <br /> The total number of registered voters in each precinct as follows: <br /> Precinct One 2,336 (twenty-three hundred thirty-six) <br /> Precinct Two 2,228 ( twenty-two hundred twenty-eight) <br /> Precinct Three 1,955 (nineteen hundred fifty-five) - <br /> Precinct Four 1,979 (nineteen hundred seventy-nine) <br /> Precinct Five 2,327 (twenty-three hundred twenty-seven) <br /> Precinct Six 2,202 ( twenty-two hundred two) <br /> Total 13,027 (Thirteen thousand twenty-seven) <br /> Reconciliation sheets were delivered to the Town Clerk at his <br /> office. <br /> The Registrars of Voters and the Town Clerk canvassed the result <br /> as follows: <br /> Precinct One 762 ( seven hundred sixty-two) <br /> Precinct Two 776 ( seven hundred seventy-six) <br /> Precinct Three 913 (nine hundred thirteen) <br /> Precinct Four 926 (nine hundred twenty-six) <br /> Precinct Five 1,046 (one thousand forty-six) <br /> Precinct Six 851 ( eight hundred fifty-one) <br /> Total 5,271 (Fifty-two hundred seventy-four) <br />
