HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-03-06-ATE-Results (WARRANT FOR ANNUAL TOWN MEETING - See Warrant Book) 213 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING March 6, 1961 In pursuance of the foregoing warrant the legal voters of the Town of Lexington met in their- respective voting places in said Town_ of Lexington on Monday, March the sixth in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and sixty-one at 7:30 in the forenoon. The following -places were designated as the voting places for the various precincts: Precinct One, Adams School; Precinct Two, East Lexington Fire StationPrecinct Three, Cary Memorial Hall; Precinct Four, High School Building; Precinct Five, Central Fire Station; Precinct Six, Maria Hastings School. _ The following election officers having been duly appointed by the Selectmen, and Wardens of the various precincts were assigned for duty as follows: Precinct One Precinct Two Mary E. Osgood Teller Michael Lovezzola The polls were declared open in each precinct at seven-thirty o'clock A. M. and remained open until eight o'clock P. M. , after which time, after due notice, they were closed. The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance of their duties. The total number of registered voters in each precinct as follows: Precinct One 2,309 (twenty-three hundred nine) Precinct Two 2,307 (twenty-three hundred seven) Precinct Three 1,988 (nineteen hundred eighty-eight) Precinct Four 2,000 (two thousand) Precinct Five 2,398 (twenty-three hundred ninety-eight) Precinct Six 2,211 (twenty-two hundred eleven) Total 13,213 (Thirteen thousand two hundred thirteen) II Reconciliation sheets were delivered to the Town Clerk at his office.
