(WARRANT FOR ANNUAL TOWN MEETING - See Warrant Book) 213 <br /> ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br /> March 6, 1961 <br /> In pursuance of the foregoing warrant the legal voters of the <br /> Town of Lexington met in their- respective voting places in said <br /> Town_ of Lexington on Monday, March the sixth in the year of our <br /> Lord nineteen hundred and sixty-one at 7:30 in the forenoon. <br /> The following -places were designated as the voting places for the <br /> various precincts: Precinct One, Adams School; Precinct Two, East <br /> Lexington Fire StationPrecinct Three, Cary Memorial Hall; Precinct <br /> Four, High School Building; Precinct Five, Central Fire Station; <br /> Precinct Six, Maria Hastings School. _ <br /> The following election officers having been duly appointed by <br /> the <br /> Selectmen, and Wardens of the various precincts were assigned <br /> for duty as follows: <br /> Precinct One Precinct Two <br /> Mary E. M. , after <br /> which time, after due notice, they were closed. <br /> The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance of <br /> their duties. <br /> The total number of registered voters in each precinct as follows: <br /> Precinct One 2,309 (twenty-three hundred nine) <br /> Precinct Two 2,307 (twenty-three hundred seven) <br /> Precinct Three 1,988 (nineteen hundred eighty-eight) <br /> Precinct Four 2,000 (two thousand) <br /> Precinct Five 2,398 (twenty-three hundred ninety-eight) <br /> Precinct Six 2,211 (twenty-two hundred eleven) <br /> Total 13,213 (Thirteen thousand two hundred thirteen) <br /> II Reconciliation sheets were delivered to the Town Clerk at his <br /> office. <br /> The Registrars of Voters and the Town Clerk canvassed the <br /> result as follows: <br /> Precinct One 554 (Five hundred fifty-four) <br /> Precinct Two 581 (Five hundred eighty-one) <br /> Precinct Three 661 (Six hundred sixty-one) _ <br /> Precinct Four 717 (Seven hundred seventeen) <br /> Precinct Five 691 (Six hundred ninety-one) <br /> Precinct Six r 503 (Five hundred three) <br /> Total 3,707 (Thirty-seven hundred seven) <br />
