1 54 <br /> WARRANT FOR ANNUAL TOWN MEETING - See Warrant Book) <br /> ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br /> March 7, 1960 <br /> CD <br /> In pursuance of the foregoing warrant- the legal voters- of the <br /> Town of Lexington met in their respective voting places in said <br /> Town of Lexington on Monday, March the seventh in the year or our <br /> Lord nineteen hundred and sixty at seven-thirty o'clock in <br /> the forenoon. <br /> The following places were designated as the voting places for the <br /> various precincts: Precinct One, Adams School; Precinct Two, East <br /> Lexington Fire Station; Precinct Three, Cary Memorial Hall; Precinct <br /> Four, High School Building; Precinct Five, '-Central Fire Station; <br /> Precinct Six, Maria Hastings School. <br /> The following election officers having been duly appointed by <br /> the Selectmen, and Wardens of the various precincts were assigned <br /> for duty as follows: <br /> Precinct One Precinct Two <br /> Rose I. Hooper <br /> The polls were declared open in each precinct at seven-thirty <br /> o'clock A. M. and remained open until eight o'clock P. M., after <br /> which time, after due notice, they were closed. <br /> The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance of <br /> their duties. <br /> The total number of registered voters in each precinct as follows: <br /> Precinct One 1,955 (nineteen hundred fifty-five) <br /> Precinct Two 2,080 (two thousand'eighty) <br /> Precinct Three 1,799 - ( seventeen hundred ninety-nine) <br /> Precinct Four 1,783 (seventeen hundred eighty-three) <br /> Precinct Five 2,119 (twenty-one hundred nineteen) <br /> Precinct Six 1,995 (nineteen hundred ninety-five) <br /> Total 11,731 (Eleven thousand seven hundred thirty-one) <br /> Reconciliation sheets were delivered to the Town Clerk at his <br /> office. <br /> • <br /> The Registrars of Voters and the Town Clerk canvassed the <br /> result as follows: <br /> Precinct One 672 (Six hundred seventy-two) <br /> Precinct Two 856 (Eight hundred fifty-six) <br /> Precinct Three 826 (Eight hundred twenty-six) <br /> Precinct Four 837 (Eight hundred thirty-seven) <br /> Precinct Five 863 (Eight hundred sixty-three) <br /> Precinct Six 720 (Seven hundred twenty) <br /> Total 4,774 (Forty-seven hundred seventy-four) <br />
