Chapter 40 <br /> TEE COT14OuNEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS <br /> In the Year One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-eight <br /> AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF LEXINGTON TO BORROW <br /> MONEY FOR REMODELING, RECONSTRUCTING, NKING EXTRAORDINARY <br /> REPAIRS, RE-EQUIPPING AND REFURNISHING ITS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL <br /> BUIL-DING. <br /> Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in <br /> General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as <br /> follows: <br /> 6ECTION 1. For the purpose of remodeling, reconstructing and <br /> making extraordinary repairs to the junior high school building <br /> and re-equipping and refurnishing the same, the town of Lexington <br /> may borrow, within a period of two years from the passage of this <br /> act, such sum as may be necessary, not exceeding six hundred <br /> thousand dollars, and may issue bonds or notes therefor, which <br /> shall bear on their face the words, Lexington School Remodeling <br /> Loan, Act of 1958, and such loan shall be paid in not more than <br /> ten years from its date. Indebtedness incurred under this act <br /> shall be in excess of the statutory limit, but shall, except as <br /> herein provided, be subject to chapter forty-four of the General <br /> Laws, exclusive of the limitation contained in the first paragraph <br /> of section seven thereof. <br /> SECTION 2.
