15 <br />2.Occupational Therapy <br />Many of the systems issues concerning speech and language also apply to occupational therapy as well. <br />OTs are asked to test students, determine if a disability exists, set the amount of service, and build their <br />own schedules. Few checks and balances are in place. <br />î¿òЮ»ª¿´»²½»±º­»®ª·½» <br />In LPS, 268 students receive OT services. Again, the average does not tell the whole story. Some spend much more time, while a few <br />spend much less.
