<br />Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA) <br />Minutes for Meeting October 4, 2010 <br />Cary Memorial Library <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Zoe Perry-Wood, Chair; Victoria Campos, Recording <br />Secretary; Chris Kyle; Jackie Hawkison <br />Absent: Marilyn Kolb, Treasurer; Jonathan Cue; Jan <br />Goplerud <br /> <br />Call to Order: <br /> <br />Zoe Perry Wood called us to order at 7:30PM. <br /> <br />Secretary's Report <br /> <br /> The minutes for the September minutes were approved. <br /> <br />Topics discussed tonight: <br /> <br />LCA Secretary to assume responsibility of sending <br /> <br />approved minutes to the Town Archives. <br />ZPW wrote a press release to appear in the Lexington <br /> <br />Minuteman calling for LCA 2011 grant proposals. <br />$90K Adams grant funded by MCC has been sought by <br /> <br />the Lexington Tourism Committee, which has sought <br />LCA’s input. Their goals are to attract cultural tourism <br />(or, giving visitors reasons to linger in Lexington). LCA <br />members are invited to attend October 21, 2010 in <br />Town Office Bldg. #207 <br />Suggestion to hold an annual reception for our <br /> <br />grantees—possible date: May of each calendar year. <br /> <br />
