<br />WARRANT FOR TOWN ELECTION – (SEE WARRANT FILE) <br />TOWN ELECTION – Rescheduled from <br />MARCH 2, 2009 to MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2009 <br />In pursuance of the foregoing warrant, and subsequent Order of the Superior Court <br />postponing the Annual Town Election due to severe weather conditions, the legal voters <br />of the Town of Lexington met in their respective voting places in said Town of Lexington <br />on Monday, March 9, 2009, at 7:00 a.m. <br />The following places were designated as the voting places for the various precincts: <br />Precinct One, Cary Memorial Building; Precinct Two, Bowman School; Precinct Three, <br />Jonas Clarke Middle School; Precinct Four, Bridge School; Precinct Five, Cary Memorial <br />Building; Precinct Six, William Diamond Middle School; Precinct Seven, Joseph <br />Estabrook School; Precinct Eight, Central Fire Station; Precinct Nine, Maria Hastings <br />School. <br />The election officers and Wardens were assigned for duty as follows <br />: <br />Precinct 1: Warden: Richard Pemberton [U]; Clerk: Barry Sampson [U]; Inspectors: Edwina <br />Spillane [U], Richard Spillane [U], Jeanette Cerulli [D], Doris Pemberton [U], William Barrett [R], <br />Margaret Kelly [U], Leonora Feeney [D], Carol Sampson [U]. <br />Precinct 2: Warden: Rebecca Fagan [U]; Clerk: Richard Eaton [U], Inspectors: Susanne Hays <br />[U]; Dorothy Bond [U], Charles Freeman [R], Marita Hartshorn [D], Robert Hartshorn [D], Joseph <br />Pato [D], Mary Ellen Turner [D], . <br />Precinct 3: Warden: Shirley R. The polls <br />were declared open in each precinct at seven o’clock A.M. and remained open until eight <br />o’clock p.m., at which time, after due notice, the polls were declared closed. <br />Election results were delivered to the Town Clerk at the Town Office Building. <br />16%of the registered voters cast their vote.
