It <br />isn’t a historic preservation value. George Burnell said that no one outside of the room feels <br />there is anything to preserve. If historic preservation is pushed, it may lose votes. <br /> Bob Bicknell said it is the Task Force’s role to recommend to the Board of Selectmen. <br />What should the group do next? The Salemi report is all the Board of Selectmen have seen <br />and that seemed to say that the building can barely stand. There was further discussion of <br />the cost of rehabbing the farm house, and how the costs should be determined. Should <br />more funds be sought to explore rehab? In the end the group felt that they should keep <br />options open and ask the CPC to fund stabilizing the farm house and pre-development <br />studies. <br /> <br />CPC Application <br /> Any application to the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) for funds is <br />subject to the Board of Selectmen’s approval. Mr. Burnell said it would also be an <br />opportunity to get feedback on the preservation of the farm house and the density of <br />development. Les Savage said he would go to the Board of Selectmen with the CPC <br />application for stabilization and pre-development funds, as been agreed to at the last <br />meeting.
