Moderator ROLE: To preside over Town Meeting and appoint mem- bers of the Appropriation Committee, Capital Expenditures Committee, the Cary Lecture Series, and Lexington's representative on the Minuteman Regional School Committee. ELECTED by the voters at large for a 1 -year term: Margery Battin. HIGHLIGHTS: • Worked with Town Meeting members, boards, and committees to improve the Town Meeting process. The quality of Lexington's citizen participation is unparal- leled; the dedication of its staff unequaled.
