In the event of

rain, we do have permission to move indoors to Cary Hall.

Suzie will order the bus for the ride to Westview Cemetery.

Bob Tracey will order the wreaths for the memorials.

A request has been made to the DPW for set up of the podium, speaker, chairs,

traffic horses and bags for parking meters.

The Lexington Fire Department is a new stop this year; dedication of the

memorial plaque will not occur until June.

Guests Michael DaRu and Sam Doran gave committee members a brief history of

their club (The Lt. Col. John W. Hudson Club of Lexington, MA) and suggested a
few additions to the ceremony. The Lt. Col. John W. Hudson Club of Lexington,
MA will join the scouts in the laying of a wreath at the civil war memorial,
followed by the reading of the Decoration of the GAR Plot statement by a club
member.

New business

Town Celebrations Committee membership. Suzie talked with the committee

about membership renewals. Linda Dixon received an application to join.

Summer projects. The reviewing stand is not in good condition. We need to

either have it repaired, if possible, or replace it with a new one.

Suzie will talk with the Minutemen about designating a handicap area for

viewing the reenactment. (The reviewing stand area for handicap seating at the
afternoon parade worked very well.)

Sandy Podgorski will compile of list of past parade marshals and themes.

Meeting adjourned at 9 pm.

Submitted by Sandy Podgorski
