APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE REPORT TO 2010 ATM — MARCH 2010 approved in debt exclusion referenda. It will be most prudent for the Town to allocate funds at a level sufficient to address all of the high priority capital needs over some reasonable period of time. In short, we need to plan for a high level of spending on important capital projects over the coming 10 to 15 years. The Town will need all the help it can get, e.g. by taking advantage of state and federal funds when they are available, from the CPA, and from citizen support of well - formulated debt exclusion overrides. Clearly Town officials, boards, and committees will need to engage in discussions of strategies for managing both areas over the coming months and years. Page 8
