Reappointment to the Board of Health of Donald Goldman for a term <br />to expire on April 30, 1991. <br />Reappointments to the Conservation Commission of Joyce Miller and <br />Joel Adler, for terms to expire on April 1, 1991. <br />Reappointments to the Historical Commission of Martin Gilman and <br />Isabella Hagelstein and appointment of Maureen Phillips, 36 <br />Liberty Avenue, for terms to expire on April 1, 1991. <br />Reappointment to the Recreation Committee of Sam Nablo, for a <br />term to expire on April 30, 1991. <br />Reappointment of Cynthia Calvin, and appointment of Charles Shaw, <br />219 Lowell Street, to the Youth Commission, for terms to expire <br />on April 30, 1991. <br />Mrs. Smith referred to the Board's goals to involve more citizens <br />in volunteer committee participation and asked that the newspaper <br />publish an article encouraging townspeople to submit Talent Bank <br />applications indicating their interests. <br />STREET RESURFACING CONTRACT #89 -1 <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to award Contract <br />#89 -1, in the amount of $631,455.00, to the Middlesex Carp., 17 Progress <br />Avenue, Chelmsford, MA for Street Resurfacing. <br />DRAIN CONSTRUCTION, WESTVIEW, CONTRACT #89 -3 <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to award Contract <br />#89 --3, in the amount of $62,492.00, to C.J. Mabardy, Inc., 50 Mooney <br />fL Street, Cambridge, for Drain Construction, Westview Cemetery. <br />MARRETT RD./RTE. 2A IMPROVEMENTS, ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the <br />request from the BSC Group for authorization for additional services in <br />conjunction with Marrett Road /Rte. 2A Traffic Improvements in the amount <br />of $10,000, to be paid from State advance, Ch. 90 paving funds, awarded <br />under Ch. 811 of 1985. The additional services are necessary to prepare <br />for and to provide backup for a MDPW public hearing on the Marrett Road <br />project. <br />In response to Mr. Eddison's inquiry, Mr. White will explore the <br />possibility of more in -house work on this project. <br />RESERVE FUND TRANSFERS <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve <br />transfer of funds in the amount of $6,930.00 from the Reserve Fund to <br />Fire Dept. Expense Acct. #103 - 101 --102; transfer of $15,000-00 from the <br />Reserve Fund to Police Dept. Expense Acct. #01 -101 --102; and to transfer <br />$18,004 from the Reserve Fund to Fire Dept. Personal Services Acct. <br />#103 --99 -5103. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve <br />transfer of funds in the amount of $100,000 from Article 5 of 1987 to <br />Fire Dept. Personal Services Acct. #103 -99 -5103. <br />
