Michael <br />Walton & Fulton of the Lexington Fire Department who were present for acknowledgement <br />Fulton of their recent promotions. The Chief informed the Board of the background, <br />qualifications and areas of responsibility of bath -men, who were then pre - <br />sented with their badges by - their wives and congratulated by members of their <br />families, also <br />The officers were congratulated by Chairman Bat t in for their achieve- <br />ments and were given a standing round of applause as they left the meeting. <br />Appt . A date of August .6 was established for discussion of appointment = <br />Criteria criteria, Selectman Eddison will consult with, individual chairmen of <br />committees, boards and commissions for information on particular areas of <br />expertise and backgrounds which would qualify candidates for membership <br />in their agencies. <br />Mr . - Marshall suggested that and enthusiasm be the basic criteria <br />for appointments and 'beyond that the specific criteria for participation in <br />a particular group be used -as guidelines. Grace Recreation Association for one -day Liquor License <br />Liquor Lic . - on July 11, 1984,. - on the occasion of a farewell party for an employee, <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was- voted to refer the request <br />of Patricia .Brandes , of the Waldorf School, for-installation of speed bumps <br />in the parking of the Adams School /Recreation Area, to the Traffic <br />Safety Advisory Committee for its review and recommendations. <br />Ms. Adler- was requested 'to investigate as to whether the Town or the <br />Waldorf School, which leases the former Adams School Building, should bear <br />the burden of costs for this installation, if it is - approved. <br />Street Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted <br />Acceptances ance orders f.or -the following FY '85 streets: <br />Battleview Circle, Crest Circle, Ingleside Road, <br />Sunnyknoll Avenue* <br />to sign Street Accept- <br />Kitson Park Drive, <br />Sewer Taking Upon motion duly made and seconded, 'it was vot -ed to sign a revised order <br />Hazel Rd. of Sewer Taking for Hazel Road,_ previously approved by the Board of Select- <br />men on July 26, 1982, and amended to reflect a revised estimate of sewer <br />betterment charges . - <br />FY' 85 Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adopt the revised <br />Salaries wage and salary plan for FY '85 which calls for , a 6% adjustment to the ranges <br />and increases ranging from 0 to 10% under the merit system. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the FY '85 <br />salary of Town Manager Robert M. Hutchinson, Jr. at a rate of $56,000 per.. <br />annum. <br />
