Iki <br />SELECTMEN MEETING <br />January 11, 1984 <br />A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in Room G -15, Town <br />Office Building, on Wednesday, January 11, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. Chairman <br />Politi, Mrs. Battin Mr. Sacco, Mr. McLaughlin; Mr. Hutchinson, Town <br />Manager; Miss Adler, Assistant to the Town Manager and Mrs. Snow, Acting <br />Executive Cler.k., were present. <br />The Town Manager explained the purpose of the meeting to review <br />FY'85 budget requests of the Fire, Police, Public Works and Engineering <br />Departments, <br />Police Chief Furdon was present to outline his Personal Services <br />and Expense budget requests under Accounts 3800, 3900, 3760 and 3770 <br />and to provide justification information for any 'increases, He gave a <br />status report on goals of 1983184 and outlined the department's goals <br />for the coming fiscal year.. <br />Fire Chief Bergeron presented budget requests of the Fire Department <br />under Personal Services Accounts 4110 and 4120 and Expense Accounts 4159 <br />and 4350 and gave rationale for increases. He reported on his departments <br />goals for 1984185. <br />Police Dept. <br />Budget <br />Fire Dept <br />Budget <br />Mr. Tonaszuck, Director of Public Works and Engineering and Mr. Fields, DPW/ <br />Town Engineer, were - present to review Personal Service and Expense Engineering <br />Budget requests for Accounts 4900 through 6800 for all departments. <br />Progress with 1983/84 goals of:the Department of Public Works and <br />Engineering Division, were recapped and the goals for the coming fiscal <br />.period given <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 10:00 <br />P.M. <br />A true record,.Attest: <br />Acting Executive Clerk <br />E <br />
