(781)863-9468 <br /> HANK MANZ <br /> February 6, 2006 <br /> To the Residents of Lexington <br /> The Warrant provides notification of the Annual Town Meeting and advises residents of <br /> the various issues being considered at the Meeting. Only articles listed in the Warrant may be <br /> discussed. <br /> Articles are grouped in three categones Zoning, Financial, and General Descriptions <br /> are provided in an attempt to make the Warrant useful and understandable A map is also <br /> provided linking certain articles to the particular sites they impact. <br /> One of the most important votes that take place in the Annual Town Meeting is the <br /> budget. We urge citizens to read the budget, understand it, and help us find a way to foster <br /> excellence within the community The Warrant includes the Town Manager's Proposed Budget <br /> for Fiscal Year 2007. Between now and Town Meeting there will be multiple public Joint <br /> sessions between the Board of Selectmen, the School Committee and the Finance Committees to <br /> develop a comprehensive proposed budget for Town Meeting. The final proposal will be <br /> delivered to all Town Meeting members prior to the consideration of any financial articles by <br /> Town Meeting. <br /> Please note that the vote to adopt the Community Preservation Act will be conducted <br /> with the annual election on March 6, 2006 <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> Jeanne K.
