<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in the Selectmen's
<br />Meeting Room, Town office Building, on Monday, October 18, 1982, at 7 :30 P.M.
<br />Chairman Busa, Mrs. Battin, Mr. Politi, Mr. Sacco;. Mr. Perry, Acting Town
<br />Manager, Ms. Adler, Assistant to the Town Manager; Mrs. Snow, Principal Clerk.,
<br />were present.
<br />Chairman Busa convened the meeting and requested a motion for ratifi - Mr. Perry
<br />cation of the poll vote appointing Richard . M. Perry as Acting Town Manager. Acting Town
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to ratify the poll Manager
<br />vote on October 15, 1982, to appoint Richard M. Perry as Acting Town Mana-
<br />ger during the absence of Town Manager Robert M. Hutchinson, Jr.
<br />The Chairman opened the public hearing on the application of Ver- Versailles
<br />sailles Restaurant, Inc, for transfer of an All Alcoholic Beverages License Restaurant
<br />and Common Victualler License from Nicole E. Weinkopf d/b /a Guenther's to Liquor Lic .

<br />Mr. .Paul Sidman, applicant, introduced Mr. Isaac Dray, the other mem- License
<br />ber of the firm, who is to be Manager and chef of the restaurant. He ex-
<br />plained that all operations will continue the same as when owned and oper-
<br />ated by Guenther's except for a change from Viennese to French cuisine and
<br />with somewhat lower prices. There will be no structural changes.
<br />Mr. Busa pointed out to Mr. Sidman that service of alcoholic beverages
<br />is prohibited, unless in conjunction with service of a meal.
<br />Upon motion . duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the applica-
<br />tion of Versailles Restaurant, Inc., 1777 Massachusetts Avenue, for
<br />Common Victualler License*
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, Mr. Politi abstaining, it was
<br />voted to issue an All Alcoholic Beverages License to Verailles Res-
<br />taurant, Inc. d /b /a Versailles Restaurant, - 1777 Massachusetts Avenue,
<br />with hours of operation of 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Midnight, Monday through
<br />Saturday and 12:00 Noon to 12:00 Midnight on Sunday.
<br />The Chairman wished Messrs. Sidman and Dray success in their enter-
<br />prise and they retired from the meeting.
