April 1, 1985. <br />Treasurer Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the re- <br />quest of the Treasurer for a $126,000 loan to finance Article 15 -- 1982 <br />Town Meeting for highway resurfacing. The note will be dated 1018/82 and <br />will be due 4/6183 at 4.75% to the Old Colony Bank of Burlington. <br />The Board of Assessors met with the Board to discuss and set the new <br />tax rate for 1983. <br />David wellinger, 11 Fifer Lane, President of the Drummer Boy Homes <br />Association, requested the Selectmen to adopt a lower tax rate for condo- <br />minium owners as they have the additional expense of paying for snow re- <br />moval, road maintenance and exterior lighting. <br />Chairman Grush responded that the Board of Assessors has never gra ted <br />any special consideration for condominium owners as opposed to any other <br />residents. <br />Town Counsel noted that the tax statutes do not allow levying a special <br />rate for condominiums and the only alternative for dissatisfied condominium ►�• <br />
