7A11i PW 1 . --7) Y, Selectmen's Meeting M7= July 26, 1982 Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the installation of barrier posts at the LEXPI ESS stop in Depot Square such posts to be 4- 12 feet high with reflectors for a trial period until November 1. At the end of this trial period, a report will be submitted to the Board from the Transportation Advisory Committee, Police Depart - ment and the Department of Public wov s relative to the effectiveness of the barriers. The Chai.rman thanked the Transportation Advisory Committee for its report and they retired from the meeting.. Mrs. Batt.in reported to the Board that the Center Devitalization is Committee is very concerned about "meter feeding" of the parking meters. She questioned apt. Lira relative to regulations regarding. raising the fine and he said that it could be placed in Class B which would be a fine of $10.00. He suggested raising the charges for all three categories of parking fines and putting "overtime" parking violations into group A to B. The Board will discuss the matter further and vote regarding a change at future meeting. The Chairman reported to the Board that the Building Commissioner had reported that the management of the Battle Green Inn had implemented most of the necessary corrections relating to structural changes with the exception of .new domes being completely installed in the court areas. The Chairman recommended that the suspension of the Innkeeper License im- posed by the Beard on April 13 relative to room occupancy be removed. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to remove the sus- pension of the Innkeeper. License for the Battle Green Inn subject to new domes being completely installed in the court areas and inspection by the Building Commissioner by November 150 Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to accept the gift of approximately 2. 5 acres of land from Francis W. K. Smith and .Jacque - lyn R. Smith of 4 Clematis load, Lexington with conservation restric- tions on the following' premises "That portion of Lots A and B on Plan dated March 16, 1944, re- corded with Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds in Boob. 6763, Page 290 which is located below the 210 Contour line as shown on the Geodetic Survey Daps of the Town of Lexington."
