The Board discussed a. possible recess of 'down Meeting and it was agreed <br />Recess that should a recess be called, a. reconvening date of .dune 16 would be sug- <br />gested to Town Meeting. <br />Battle The Chairman reported to the Board that he had received complaints <br />Green over the week. -end relative to the use of the Battle Green, He stated that <br />people had complained that there were frisk ie games, sunbathing and other <br />inappropriate activities-on the Green. <br />Mr. Cohen explained that the new By-Law cannot be sent to the Attorney <br />General for approval until after the referendum period which is five days <br />after the close of Meeting after which the Attorney General has ninety <br />days in which to act. The new By-Law roust then be published in the Minute - <br />Man before it becomes effective.
