Tonas uck, <br />Director, Public works Engineers g. <br />Mr. Busa opened the hearing at 7:30 P.M. and introduced Mr. Tona- <br />tuck who conducted the hearing. <br />Mr. Tonas uck explained that Center Street is approximate 375 <br />long, has a 50 ' layout, 24 1 roadway and no sidewalks .on either side. The <br />road has b een pared according to sp of th e Town Engineering <br />Department and was inspected by the Engineering Department during its <br />construction, He explained that existing drainage in the area was suf- <br />ficient and no-additional drainage was necessary. He explained that the <br />street is in acceptable condition to the Engineering Department and <br />ready for presentation to Town Meeting for acceptance or rejection. <br />Mr. J. Albaro, 31 Center Street, who was in attendance stated that <br />he was pleased that the Town would consider the acceptance of Center <br />Street and wondered if there would be any problems. <br />Mr. Busa stated that no problems were anticipated. -and the Beard of <br />Selectmen would make a recommendation to Town Meeting for acceptance. <br />Mr. Tonasuck explained that a betterment Would be assessed and <br />abated due to the fact that the residents had made the improvements at <br />their own expense. <br />Mr. Busa declared the bearing closed at 7: P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Dir.
