(Ann. Tn. Mtg. - March 17, 1975) <br /> Article 21. Presented by Alfred S. Busa. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are authorized to <br /> install trunk sewers in the Concord Avenue area of the Town as the <br /> Selectmen may determine, subject to the assessment of betterments or <br /> otherwise, in accordance with Chapter 504 of the Acts of 1897, and <br /> acts in addition thereto and in amendment thereof, or otherwise, and <br /> to take by eminent domain, purchase or otherwise acquire any fee, <br /> easement or other interest in land necessary therefor; and to <br /> 3 <br /> appropriate for such installation and land acquisition the sum of <br /> $70,000.00 therefor and that such amount be raised in the tax levy. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 9:35 P. M. <br /> Article 22. Presented by Alfred S. Bailey. <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $136,000.00 be appropriated for the pur- <br /> chase by or with the approval of the Selectmen of equipment for the <br /> Department of Public Works, and to raise such amount $124,000.00 be <br /> transferred from available and anticipated P.L_ 92 -512 funds (Federal <br /> Revenue Sharing Funds) and $12,000.00 be raised in the tax levy, <br /> provided that such $12,000.00 shall be allocated to the street <br /> striping machine. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 9:49 P. M. <br /> Article 25. Presented by Fred C. Bailey. <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $5,000.00 be appropriated, in addition to <br /> the sum appropriated under Article 43 of the warrant for the 1974 <br /> annual town meeting, for the purchase of an ambulance- rescue vehicle <br /> for the Fire Department, and that such amount be raised in the tax <br /> levy. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 9:50 P. M. <br /> Article 26. Presented by Allan F. Kenney. <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $60,000.00 be appropriated for highway <br /> construction under authority of Chapter 90 of the General Laws of <br /> all or any part of the section of Hancock Street from Harrington <br /> Road to Adams Street, and that such amount be raised in the tax levy. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 9:58 P. M. <br /> i <br /> Article 27. Presented by Allan F. Kenney. <br /> MOTION. That the sum of $6,000. be appropriated for highway mainten- <br /> ance under the authority of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, and that <br /> such amount be raised in the tax levy. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 10 P.
