Reilly. <br /> MOTION: Until the next annual Town Meeting, (1) no synthetic or <br /> non - organic, or partially synthetic or partially non - organic <br /> (See fertilizer_ shall be applied to any lands owned by the Town, in- <br /> Page eluding but not limited to school lands and conservation lands; <br /> 56.) and (2) such lands may be posted with signs bearing the following <br /> or a similar legend: Petroleum -based fertilizer is essential for <br /> food production.. Therefore the Town of Lexington has chosen to <br /> use only organic fertilizer on its public lands. <br /> 10:28 P. M. <br /> After general discussion, Daniel I. Small moved to replace the <br /> word "use" with the word "purchase ", and the word "on" with the <br /> word "for ", both occurring in the last sentence.. <br /> 10:48 P. M. <br /> Allan F. Kenney moved to refer this article to the Board of Select - <br /> men and that it be taken up on April 7, 1975. <br /> 10:49 P. M. <br /> James Cataldo moved the previous question which was declared carried <br /> by voice vote. 10:56 P. M. <br /> Mr. Kenney's referral motion declared carried by voice vote. <br /> 10:57 P. M. <br /> Mr. Kenney stated that all articles that have been tabled, with the <br /> exception of Articles 4, 5 and 34, would be taken up on Monday, March 31, 1975. <br /> 10:57 P. M. <br /> Mr. Allan F. Kenney moved that the meeting be adjourned to Monday, March <br /> 31, 1975 at 8 P. M. in Cary Memorial IIall. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 10:57 P. Bonasera, 24 Theresa Avenue, resigned as a Town Meeting Member <br /> from Precinct One on March 29, 1975. <br /> Richard S. Glantz, 24 Blueberry Lane, having received the next highest <br /> number of votes as a defeated candidate for Town Meeting Member in Precinct One <br /> at the March 3, 1975 election, accepted a position as Town Meeting Member from <br /> Precinct One on March 31, 1975. Mr. Glantz will fill the vacancy caused by the <br /> resignation of Anita M. Bonasera for a term of one year expiring in March 1976. <br />
