JUNE 29, 1977 <br /> RECOUNT OF VOTES CAST JUNE 13, 1977 TO FILL THE VACANCY <br /> ON THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> (Vacancy caused by the resignation of Howard M. Kassler) <br /> Upon receipt of nine recount petitions (one for each precinct), a <br /> recount of the votes cast June 13, 1977 at the Special Town Election to <br /> fill the vacancy on the Board of Selectmen, due to the resignation of <br /> Howard M. Kessler, was held on Wednesday, June 29, 1977 starting at 10 A.M. <br /> and completed at 1:30 P.M. <br /> The following were present at the recount: <br /> Board of Registrars: Reed Kingston Taylor, Chairman <br /> Theldon E. Phinney <br /> Mary R. McDonough, Clerk and Town Clerk <br /> Election Workers: D Marjorie Modoono <br /> R Mildred M. Cronin <br /> Agents for: <br /> James F. Crain: John R. Campbell <br /> James J.' McDevitt <br /> Robert B. Kent: Robert B. Kent, Jr. <br /> Marian C. Reilly <br /> Figures on the voting machines in each of the nine precincts were checked <br /> and the absentee ballots were counted.
