_g_ <br />Article XXVII - Licensed Persons <br />To amend Section 2 of Article XXVII of the General By-Laws <br />of the Town of Lexington by striking therefrom the word <br />"canvasser," <br />Article XXVIII - Animals <br />To amend Section 4 of Article XXVILI of the General By-Laws <br />of the Town of Lexington by striking the word "a" and <br />substituting therefor the word "to." <br />Article XXX - Loam, Sand and Gravel - Removal <br />To amend Article XXX of the General By-Laws of the Town of <br />Lexington by striking it and substituting therefor the <br />following; <br />REM9VAL AND PLACEMENT OF LOAM, SAND, GRAVEL, ETC. <br />.rr ~.= <br />Section 1. The removal or placement during any twelve ~ <br />month period of more than twenty-five cubic yards of topsoil, <br />rock, sod,. loam, peat, humus, clay, sand or gravel from or upon <br />any land in the Town not in public use is prohibited unless <br />authorized by a permit from the Board of Appeals, except under <br />the following circumstances: <br />(a) When such removal or placement is incidental <br />to and in connection with the erection or removal on <br />that site of a building for which a permit has been <br />issued by the Building Inspector of .the Town. <br />(b) When such removal or placement is required in order <br />to construct a street that has been approved by the <br />Planning Board over -the location .from which such <br />removal or placement is made. <br />{c) When such removal or placement is in accordance with <br />special permission from the Board of Appeals issued <br />under the provisions of the Zoning By-Laws. <br />
