(ADJOURNED SESSION, A.T.M. , CONT. - MAY 20, 1991) 914%Z 4;',47:7 <br /> support opposition by Waltham and Lexington to the <br /> proposed postal facilities processing site on the <br /> Waltham/Lexington line. <br /> There was discussion for and against. <br /> 10:28 p.m. Selectman Dailey stated the Board's <br /> opposition saying that Town Counsel has familiarized <br /> himself with the situation. <br /> 10:29 p.m. Jane Pagett, Appropriation Committee, stated <br /> that a majority of the Committee recommended favorable <br /> action, <br /> There was considerable discussion as to the impact of <br /> this facility on the quality of Lexington life, traffic, <br /> support of Waltham, support of the Conservation Law <br /> Foundation. <br /> 10:39 p.m. Selectman Marshall stated that this money was <br /> being asked of Lexington in order to support Waltham's <br /> tax base, He stated that Town Meeting could pass a <br /> resolution to show support but that the money was not <br /> necessary. <br /> Following a voice vote at 10:46 p.m. , the Moderator <br /> declared passage of Mr. Canale's motion. <br /> The Moderator continued the reading: <br /> 7410 Legal Expenses 35,000 <br /> 7420 Town Clerk Personal Services 102,918 <br /> 7420 Town Clerk Expenses 2,370 <br /> 7430 Board of Registrars Personal Services 1 ,806 <br /> 7430 Board of Registrars Expenses 32, 130 <br /> 7440 Elections/Town Clerk 22,598 <br /> 7450 Elections/Selectmen 20,300 <br /> Community Development <br /> 7510 Planning Dept.
