2 1,5 <br /> ADJOURNED SESSION - 1996 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br /> APRIL 10, 1996 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Moderator Margery M. <br /> Battin, at 8 p.m. , in Cary Memorial Hall. <br /> A quorum was present. <br /> The Moderator included Lois Coit in her list of <br /> acknowledgements for years of service. <br /> ARTICLE 2 REPORTS <br /> 8:10 p.m. Marshall Derby presented an update of LexHAB <br /> mentioning sites at Philip Road, Muzzey, Emerson Gardens, <br /> Garfield Street, and Locke Village. <br /> MOTION: That Articles 31, 33, 28 and 30 be taken up in <br /> that sequence; provided, however, that if any of these <br /> articles are not reached at this session, then they shall <br /> be taken up in their numerical order. <br /> 8:10 p.m. Presented by Selectman McSweeney. <br /> Following a voice vote at 8:10 p.m. , the Moderator <br /> declared unanimous adoption of the motion. <br /> ARTICLE 31 RS TO RD PELHAM ROAD (YOUVILLE PLACE) <br /> That the Zoning By-Law of the Town of Lexington be <br /> amended by changing the zoning district designation of <br /> the land commonly known as the Grey Nuns property from <br /> the RS, One Family Dwelling district to the RD, Planned <br /> Residential Development district, said Property being 10 Passed - <br /> Pelham Road and is located on the Westerly side of See p. 206 <br /> Massachusetts Avenue and Southerly side of Pelham Road. <br /> The land to be rezoned consists of an approximately 12.1 <br /> acres site located in the RS, One Family Dwelling <br /> district and bounded and described as follows: <br /> Northeasterly by Massachusetts Avenue, 623.82 feet; <br /> Southeasterly by land of the Scottish Rite Masonic <br /> Library and Museum, Inc. , 560.74 feet; Southwesterly by <br /> land of the Scottish Rite Masonic Library and Museum, <br /> Inc. , 150.75 feet; Southeasterly by land of the Scottish <br /> Rite Masonic Library and Museum, Inc. , 387.50 feet; <br /> Southwesterly by land of the Congregation of Armenian <br /> Catholic Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, Inc. , <br /> 499.15 feet; and Northwesterly by Pelham Road, 1,051.24 <br /> feet, said property being more fully described in metes <br /> and bounds by a plan of the land entitled "Map of Area to <br /> be Rezoned", dated December 28, 1995 by Leonard Design <br /> Associates, Arlington, Massachusetts, and by a written <br /> metes and bounds description, copies of which are on file <br /> with the Town Clerk. <br /> The land in the RD, Planned Residential District, <br /> district shall be subject to the preliminary site <br /> development and use plan originally filed on January 16, <br /> 1996, and revised and resubmitted on April 3, 1996, which <br /> has been filed with the Planning Board and the Town <br /> Clerk. <br /> 8: 10 p.m. Presented by Ruth Thomas, Precinct 4. <br /> 8:13 p.m. The Moderator recognized Sister June Ketterer <br /> for the plan presentation. <br />
