257 <br /> (ADJOURNED SESSION, A.T.M. , CONT. - MAY 13, 1996) <br /> 9:24 p.m. Mr. Rosenberg stated unanimous opposition of <br /> the School Committee to the amendment. <br /> 9:26 p.m. Mrs. Pagett stated Appropriation Committee <br /> opposition to the amendment. <br /> 9:26 p.m. Selectman McSweeney stated majority support <br /> for the amendment by the Board. <br /> Following a voice vote at 9:33 p.m. , the Moderator <br /> declared the motion offered by Mrs. Dooks not adopted. <br /> Discussion continued. <br /> 9:49 p.m. Sheldon Spector, P6, moved the question. <br /> Following a voice vote, the Moderator declared the main <br /> question to be before the Meeting. <br /> Following a voice vote at 9:50 p.m. , the Moderator <br /> declared Article 21 to have been unanimously adopted. <br /> 9:50 p.m. Notice of Reconsideration on Article 21 was <br /> served by Karen Dooks. <br /> 9:51 p.m. Selectman Fenn moved that Article 23 be <br /> brought up at this time. <br /> ARTICLE 23 BUCKMAN TAVERN REPAIRS <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $20,000 be appropriated to make <br /> extraordinary repairs to Buckman Tavern, and Adopted - <br /> that such amount be transferred from the See below <br /> Unreserved Fund Balance. <br /> 9:52 p.m. Presented by Selectman Fenn who stated <br /> unanimous Board approval. <br /> 9:56 p.m. Tom Taylor, Lexington Historical Society <br /> Council member stated that routine maintenance is <br /> performed by the Society with the Town doing major <br /> repairs. <br /> 9:59 p.m. Mary Miley, Appropriation Committee, stated <br /> support. <br /> Following a voice vote at 9:59 p.m. , the Moderator <br /> declared unanimous adoption of Article 23. <br /> 9:59 p.m Notice of Reconsideration on Article 23 was <br /> served by Mrs. Miley. <br /> 9:59 p.m. Selectman McSweeney moved to take up Article <br /> 25 at this time. Following a voice vote, the Moderator <br /> declared Article 25 to be before the Meeting. <br /> ARTICLE 25 WINNING FARM <br /> 10:00 p.m. Selectman McSweeney moved that Article 25 be <br /> Indefinitely Postponed. IPP <br /> Following a voice vote at 10:00 p.m. , the Moderator <br /> declared unanimous adoption of the motion to Indefinitely <br /> Postpone. <br />
