CONSERVATION LAND PURCHASE. <br /> OFF GROVE STREET <br /> Presented by John C. Eddison. <br /> (As MOTION: That the Conservation Commission be authorized to pur- <br /> adopted) chase or otherwise acquire, and the Selectmen be authorized to take <br /> by eminent domain, upon the written request of the Conservation <br /> Commission, for conservation purposes including outdoor recreation <br /> as provided by Section 8C of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, any <br /> fee, easement or conservation restriction as defined in Section 31 <br /> of Chapter 184 of the General Laws or other interest in all or any <br /> part of land shown as Lot 108C on Assessors' Property Map 83 and <br /> described in deed recorded in Middlesex South Registry of Deeds, <br /> Book 11751, page 461, now or formerly of Great Fields Realty Trust <br /> that the sum of $19,500.00 be appropriated for such land acquisition, <br /> and that to raise such amount $10,000.00 be transferred from the <br /> appropriation voted under Article 38 of the Warrant for the 1980 <br /> Annual Town Meeting and that $9,500.00 be raised in the tax levy. <br /> 10:38 P.M. <br /> Mr. Eddison explained that the parcel is on the north side of Route <br /> 128 and the assessment for the land is $15,400. 10:40 P.M. <br /> Support for the motion was voiced by William J.
