Crain. <br /> MOTION: That the Board of Selectmen be authorized to enter into a <br /> contract with the Town of Arlington whereby that town would provide <br /> computer services in connection with data processing operations, <br /> including water department billing. <br /> Carried Unanimously. 9:04 P.M. <br /> Article 9. Presented by Alfred S. Busa. <br /> MOTION: That the Town Manager_ be and he hereby is authorized with <br /> the approval of the Board of Selectmen to dispose of surplus <br /> Department of Public Works equipment, including the Bomag Compactor, <br /> valued in excess of $1,000. <br /> Carried Unanimously. 9:07 P.M. <br /> Article 10. Dailey, Jr. <br /> MOTION: That the first paragraph of Section 5 of Article XIII of <br /> the General By -Laws of the Town of Lexington be amended as set <br /> forth in this Article. <br /> (Article 10 as set forth in this article: <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the first . paragraph of Section <br /> 5 of Article XIII of the General By -Laws of the Town of Lexington <br /> relating to the Appropriation Committee by striking it and sub- <br /> stituting therefor the following: <br /> The Committee shall prior to each annual town meeting for the <br /> transaction of business prepare, publish and distribute by <br /> making copies available at the Office of the Town Clerk and at <br /> Cary Memorial Library, and by mailing to each town meeting <br /> member, a budget showing in detail the anticipated income and <br /> expenditures of the Town for the then current year, together <br /> with its advice and recommendations with reference to the <br /> various appropriations of the town funds, and other municipal <br /> matters coming before such town meeting.
