Y <br /> � <br /> A 3 <br /> DJOURNED SESSION OF THE 1986 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br /> APRIL 28, 1986 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Moderator, Lincoln P. Cole, Jr. at <br /> 8 P.M. in Cary Memorial Hall. <br /> There were 182 Town Meeting Members present. <br /> Invocation was offered by Arthur Kolsti, Pastor of the Pilgrim Congregational <br /> Church. 8 :01 P.M. <br /> Article 2. REPORTS OF TOWN OFFICERS, BOARDS, COMMITTEES <br /> Judith J. Uhrig moved that the 1986 Planning Board Report on: <br /> Subsidized Housing (1979 Town Meeting Resolution) and Affordable <br /> Housing be accepted and placed on file. <br /> Adopted by voice vote. 8:10 P.M. <br /> In response to a question by Fred D. Rosenberg, Paul W. Marshall, <br /> Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, said that there is a requirement <br /> that the Selectmen make a report on housing and that this will be <br /> done before the dissolution of this meeting. <br /> 8:10 P.M. <br /> Paul Newman, School Committee Member, filed the final report of <br /> the School Needs Evaluation and the Executive Summary of same. <br /> Mr. Newman informed the meeting that there would be a bus tour of <br /> the school buildings on Sunday, May 4, 1986, schedule on the back <br /> table in the hall. 8:13 P.M. <br /> Judith J. Uhrig moved that Article 47 be taken from the table. (See Page 1) <br /> Adopted by voice vote. 8:13 P.M. <br /> Article 47. AMEND ZONING BY -LAW, WALTHAM- STREET, RO to RD <br /> (Written notice filed by William J. Dailey, Jr. that he would abstain <br /> from discussion and voting on this article due to a conflict of <br /> interest.) <br /> Presented by Eric T. Clarke. <br /> MOTION: That the Zoning By -Law of the Town be amended by changing the <br /> (See zoning district designation of the land on the easterly side of <br /> Pages Waltham Street abutting the Waltham /Lexington town line, containing <br /> 60 -61 28.89 acres of land, more or less, as more fully described in Schedule <br /> for A, attached hereto (the "Site "), from R0, One Family Residential, <br /> adopted to RD, Planned Residential Development, as herein specified, all in <br /> motion) accordance with a preliminary site development and use plan dated <br /> April 18, 1986, and filed with the Town Clerk and the Planning Board, <br /> and that not more than 0.5 acres of land within the Site, as shown <br /> on said preliminary site development and use plan, is authorized <br /> to be used for off - street parking for the office buildings of Haynes <br /> Management, Inc. at 1020 -1050 Waltham Street, provided that such <br /> parking spaces are not to be credited toward any expansion of those <br /> office buildings and that such uses are subject to Special Permit <br /> with Site Plan Review approval pursuant to Section 8.3 of the By -Law. <br /> SCHEDULE A <br /> LAND TO BE REZONED <br /> A certain parcel of land, located in the southerly part of the Town <br /> of Lexington, bounded and described as follows: <br />
