Al) In section 1.1, PURPOSE, by revising the wording in the ninth <br /> y y line after the words: ... "the density of population and intensity of <br /> General <br /> Jul 23, use;" ... by inserting the words: "the relationship between land <br /> July development and traffic congestion;" so that the subsection as <br /> 1986) amended will read: <br /> "1.1 PURPOSE <br /> For the purposes set forth in Section 2A of Chapter 808 of <br /> the Acts of 1975, and all acts in amendment thereof and in addi- <br /> tion thereto, and under the authority thereof, the uses of land, <br /> including wetlands and lands deemed subject to seasonal or <br /> periodic flooding; the size, height, bulk, location and use of <br /> structures, including building and signs; noxious uses; areas and <br /> dimensions of land and bodies of water to be occupied or unoccupied <br /> by uses and structures, courts, yards and open spaces; the density <br /> of population and intensity of use; the relationship between land <br /> development and traffic congestion; accessory facilities and uses, <br /> such as vehicle parking and loading, landscaping and open space; <br /> and the development of the natural, scenic and aesthetic qualities <br /> of the Town of Lexington are hereby regulated as herein provided." <br /> A2) In subsection 3.4.4 in the seventh line by inserting the word: <br /> "definitive" before the words-: ..."site plan"...; so that the sub- <br /> section as amended will read: <br /> "3.4.4 CONFORMITY WITH SPGA CONDITIONS <br /> In the event that the SPGA approves a special permit under <br /> these provisions, any construction, reconstruction, substantial <br /> exterior alteration, or addition shall be carried on only in <br /> conformity with any conditions, modifications and restrictions <br /> to which the SPGA shall have made its finding and determination <br /> subject, and only in essential conformity with the application <br /> and the definitive site plan on the basis of which the finding <br /> and determination are made." <br /> I <br /> A3) In subsection 3.6.1 in the subtitle and in the first line by re- <br /> vising the wording after the words: ... "preliminary site development "... <br /> by deleting the words: ... "(and use) "... , so that the subtitle and <br /> first paragraph of subsection 3.6.1 as amended will read: <br /> "3.6.1 PRELIMINARY SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> The objectives of a preliminary site development plan are: <br /> 1) for the developer to demonstrate an understanding of the <br /> characteristics of the tract and adjoining land and to present a <br /> proposal consistent with those characteristics, 2) to make a general <br /> determination of the feasibility of the development, and 3) to make <br /> an evaluation of the off -site impacts of the development and the <br /> ability of public services to accomodate it." <br />
