Chris Herbert stated that he would be willing to consider serving as a co-chair <br /> but has limited time during the weekdays. <br /> Marilyn Feno//osa nominated Chris Herbert as a Comprehensive Plan <br /> Advisory Committee (CPAC) co-chair. Matt Daggett seconded the <br /> nomination. The CPAC voted in favor of the motion 7-0-0. NOMINATION <br /> PASSED <br /> IV. Progress on Pathway to Completion (Update on consultants and <br /> outreach schedule) <br /> Amanda Loomis provided an overview of the LexingtonNEXT Pathway to <br /> Completion timeline circulated to members of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> Advisory Committee (CPAC) on Friday, February 26, 2021. The overview <br /> provided a breakdown of Phase One, relative to the work of Stantec as the <br /> Technical Editor/Publisher, status of the executive summaries and full Trends <br /> & Existing Conditions Reports, and the required review by the Planning <br /> Board. <br /> Ms. Loomis then continued to present Phase Two of the LexingtonNEXT <br /> Pathway to Completion, which included meetings, the drafting of <br /> LexingtonNEXT, CPAC, and Outreach. Carol Kowalski provided a review of <br /> the Working Groups, the associated executive summaries' status, and a <br /> general overview of the Working Group's status. <br /> Sarah Felton, Co-chair, requested clarification regarding the status of the <br /> communications engagement consultant. Ms. Kowalski and Ms. Loomis <br /> provided an overview of the communication engagement consultant. <br /> Ms. Kowalski questioned if the CPAC members have any concerns about <br /> working through July and August to ensure the plan was complete for <br /> September. Members of the CPAC did not object to such a request. <br /> V. Executive Summary Reports Progress <br /> Carol Kowalski provided a status of the Trends and Existing Conditions <br /> Executive Summaries. Ms. Kowalski stated that Stantec and the various <br /> Working Groups are working simultaneously. However, as the executive <br /> summaries are completed, they will be released to the various Working Group <br /> to allow them to be used as a reference. <br /> Ms. Kowalski noted recent discussions with members of Vision 20/20, now <br /> known as Vision for Lexington. <br /> Christ Herbert requested a timeline for the need to review and provided <br /> feedback on the executive summaries. <br /> VI. Working group updates: Housing and Economic Development <br /> Carol Kowalski provided a review of the recent meetings and work of the <br /> Housing Working Group. It was noted that the Housing Working Group would <br /> be meeting next week to review draft recommendations prepared by staff. <br /> VII. Share Drive Introduction <br /> z <br />
