Lexington Youth Commission
Minutes of the meeting held on June 11, 2020 at 7:00 pm (over Zoom)
Members Present: Debbie Hankins, Shannon DeGuglielmo, Kristina Hankins, Tom Romano,
Alessia Caira, Anthony Mabardy, Serena Caira, Annabel Cincotta, Katie Devine, Oliver

Members Absent: Myles Cutler, Max DiCerbo, Jim Athens, Mehr Khurana
Celebrating Seniors—We discussed the Rolling Bus Rally throughout Lexington which will be
held on June 27th. Shannon and the LPS Bus Coordinator are having 8 x 10" high school
yearbook pictures printed to put in the windows of the C&W buses. We will have approximately
14 buses traveling through Lexington in Salute of our 2020 High School Seniors. LYC members
have signed up to help decorate buses and hang all pictures, socially distancing.
Tom Romano discussed community service opportunities; due to COVID everything is on hold.
We discussed ways to raise money in the fall while implementing social distancing; these
fundraisers would be done if the car wash cannot happen in September. We spoke about the
possibility of doing food drives, specifically can drives.
Special Projects have been put on hold due to COVID, specifically the drive-in movie, we will
revisit in September.
Anthony also mentioned that he has the extra t-shirts that were not picked up at the last meeting.
